Our Union

History of the Freedom Union

On February 9th 2024 – Australian Activist John Wilson publicly announced and subsequently launched a ballot to conduct a National Strike. After several weeks, the ballot went viral in favour of the calling for National Strike Actions.

However, due to online interference the national ballot was torpedoed and had to be shut down. Notwithstanding the political interference, John Wilson went on to launch the stand alone National Strike Australia Web Site, and also to call for and co ordinate several National Strike Actions.

After nearly 6 prolonged months of co ordinating and supporting National Strike Actions, John Wilson received constant feed back from the National Strikers that a new National Trade Union was badly needed to drive home all of the efforts and gains made with the National Strike Australia campaigns.

In response to this growing feedback to launch a new National Trade Union, a decision was made by John Wilson and all the trusted Team Members from National Strike Australia, to organise and then launch The Freedom Union. In September 2024, the launch of The Freedom Union was done, and thus far its membership base has steadily grown.

Using International Law and Protections, The Freedom Union of Australia promises to be the most effective and strategic Australian Trade Union ever to be launched.

Our Foundation

The Freedom Union is originated from International Law, see resources below to support the practical application of your learning.

Citizens are forbidden from taking part in war on the side of the aggressor and are legally bound to disobey the orders of any Government that takes part in an illegal war or supports acts of genocide, crimes against humanity or war crimes

This duty to refuse to obey unlawful Government orders includes orders to pay tax.
If a government uses funds raised by taxation to wage illegal war or to commit acts of genocide, crimes against humanity or war crimes,
then a taxpayer’s normal duty to pay tax is reversed and becomes a duty to refuse to pay tax.

Individuals have international duties which transcend the national obligations of obedience imposed by the individual State. He who violates the laws of war cannot obtain immunity while acting in pursuance of the authority of the State if the State in authorising action moves outside its competence under international law

All our members will be spoken for using the Get out Clause Rome Statute Article 25.3(f)
It is our duty to not comply, otherwise we would be seen as a complicit party in funding War Crimes
It is not a choice it is a duty.

By making a pledge to the union you also accept the terms of this agreement and the bylaws and agree to the code of conduct namely to do no harm and at all times remain in peace, which confirms you will take immediate measures to cease doing trade with the Australian Government and seek alternative, which is the main reason The Freedom Union was created, to give those seeking a peaceful end to the ongoing conflict a passage to freedom!

Relief from a tyrannical form of trade, and an opportunity to get-out and hence why the get-out-clause was implemented!
To provide for a peaceful remedy for members concerned with their life, liberty and peaceful existence.
The Freedom Union was established for all members seeking to comply with International Law and remain peaceful.

A serious part of the Freedom Union's work and responsibilities are to be the representative interface between all of the Union's Members and that of the International Criminal Court (ICC).

There is going to be a need on occasions where incidents arise to formally notify the International Criminal Court ICC of War Crimes being committed against members of The Freedom Union.

On each occasion The Freedom Union formally lodges allegations of a War Crime with the International Criminal Court (ICC), all details, including the alleged name of the offender - will be publicised on the Freedom Union platforms and channels.
